Situated in the picturesque village of Kessenich in Belgium 
you will find the breeding farm of  RESIDELCA  HORSES .

Frans & Sylvia de Rooij have been breeding Pura Raza Espanol
(P.R.E.) and Carthusian (Cartujano) Horses since 1995.

They started their breeding stock with the finest mares and stallions coming
from lineages such as Las Lumbreras,
Salvatierra Cortes, Hierro del Bocado, Peralta and Cruces Morillo.

Our passion became the Cartujano Lineage with its long history of the
finest characteristics of the Spanish Horse.
Our stallions and mares are certified 100% Cartujano.

The Cartujano Lineage (Estirpe Cartujana) can be traced back to the 15th Century where the Carthusian monks specialized in breeding these horses
which were sold to the nobility in all of Europe.

Four years ago we started a new direction alongside the breeding of Cartujanos, we cross breeded a select few of our Cartujana mares with
exceptional dressage Warmblood stallions.

The results are very exciting, we call these horses
"Spanish Warmblood Dressage Horses"
